Explore the calm yet varied waters of Lake Vänern on a half-day guided kayak tour through the scenic Tösse archipelago. Designed for paddlers with experience, this tour includes local fika and the chance for a refreshing swim.
This guided tour begins at Rolfskärrs Stugby, just south of Tösse harbor, along the shores of Lake Vänern. After a short safety and equipment briefing, you'll carry your kayak to the beach and begin paddling at a relaxed pace through the archipelago's mix of rocky islets and forested islands.
Over the course of around 3.5 to 4 hours, the guide will lead the group on a route tailored to the day's weather conditions, ensuring safe navigation and great views. A stop is made along the way for a simple Swedish fika with homemade pastries and a hot or cold drink. There's also time for a swim in the clear lake waters if you feel like taking a dip.
The tour is led by a qualified guide with training in kayaking, rescue techniques, and first aid. All necessary gear, including kayaks and safety equipment, is provided.
The tour is for adults and teens aged 15+ with prior paddling experience equivalent to the Euro Paddle Pass (green level). All participants must be able to swim at least 200 meters. Group sizes are limited to a maximum of 6 people to ensure a safe and personal experience.
